Spring Updates - 2025

CVHA residents attended a Champions event at the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) which the Department holds periodically to share wildfire mitigation information with communities in the Wildfire Urban Interface (WUI).


At the meeting held on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, the CSFD also wanted to learn from those in attendance some of the thoughts that residents of these areas could share on either being or not being prepared for unexpected wildfires occurring near them and requiring their evacuation.

 

The results of these interactions are shown within the attached report below. A review of these results may provide guidance on how your evacuation plans match up to the group, and perhaps what should be done to improve the results for everyone.
