CSFD FireWise Presentation - CVHA Board Meeting Wed. 11/20 @ 7pm

A special presentation will be given by CSFD FireWise at our upcoming CVHA Board meeting, being held on Wednesday, November 20th, at 7pm; location is our typical meeting place at Fire Station #18.
The Fire Marshall’s staff will be itemizing all the steps which homeowners can take to help minimize the chance of a wildfire impacting our community in the coming months and years. You have all seen the devastation that has been wreaked upon Californian, Hawaiian and Colorado communities. Since knowledge is power, the more we learn what we and our neighbors can do to avoid and to minimize the impact of a wildfire on Comstock Village, the safer we will be. WE don’t want to become a statistic.
The multimedia presentation will be at the beginning of the Board meeting at 7:00 PM and should only take about a half hour. All questions are welcome.
Please attend and help make this a safer, smarter community. Comstock Village has been a FireWise Community since 2008 and we are fortunate to have our Colorado Springs Fire Department’s assistance over all these years.
